Nadolna Family History Search:

It is well known that there was a Lenka Nadolna , from Lodz, Poland who was sent to a concentration camp during WWII. I have also found records of a woman named Stella Nadolna from Lodz.

There are several towns in Poland that bear the name Nadolna:
Nadolna Karczmar (latitude 53 42' 0N, longitude 17 51' 0E)
Nadolna (latitude 51 16' 0N, longitude 20 43' 0E)
Siennica Nadolna ( latitude 51 1' 0N, longitude 23 11' 60E)

The names Nadolna, Nadolni, and Nadolny appear in a surname list for Nowogrod (Lomza Gubernia), and also in Wsyzków, and Wizna Poland. (More than one source for some of these.)All records found were Jewish. The records were from JRI-Poland and Jewish Gen.

There is a book: Adictionary of Jewish surnames from the Kingdom of Poland, but Alexander Beider. Grandpa and Grandma Nadolna

They came from Poland, I believe sometime between 1880-1900.  I have no information as to whether they came together or separately.  I do know that at this time Poland was not actually a country as it had been invaded and split between Russia, Prussia, and Austria. So records could state any of these countries.  I have also found out that in addition to Ellis Island many immigrants arrived at the port in Baltimore, Maryland I will add other information as it comes available.
